African Village Africain is a community-driven organization dedicated to celebrating African culture, supporting newcomers, and building strong, united communities in Windsor and beyond.
Our mission is to empower individuals and families through cultural celebration, education, wellness, and economic development. We bring people together through festivals, workshops, mentorship, and support services that honor Africa’s rich heritage while creating opportunities for growth and integration in Canada.
From the African Ethnic Food Bank and Educational Outreach programs to Newcomer Assistance, Community Support Groups, and Health & Wellness initiatives, we provide resources that meet both practical and cultural needs.
At our core, we believe in unity through diversity—connecting people across generations, backgrounds, and experiences. Together, we preserve tradition, inspire progress, and build a thriving community where everyone belongs.
